After a recent review of our 2026–2027 school calendar, we have made a small adjustment to better support students and staff as we begin the school year. The original calendar included a full (5) five-day week immediately following summer break—something that, in hindsight, may have made for a challenging transition back for everyone.

With that in mind, we have adjusted the calendar to allow for a smoother start to the school year.

Here’s what’s changing:

• Friday, August 28, 2026 will now be a no school day (“N”). This allows for our first (3) weeks back to school to be (4) days, making the transition back to school easier on students and families as well.
• Monday, November 2, 2026 will now be a regular instructional day for students

We wanted to share this update with our families this spring to ensure everyone has plenty of notice and can plan accordingly.
